Certificates of Deposit. After discussion, the session approved moving funds from money market accounts to certificates of deposit, and authorized Donna Nelson, Carolyn Fielder, Mary Harris, and William Fly to sign such documents as are necessary to effect these transactions.
Capital Campaign Funds. Elder Lalich noted that Broadway Bank holds a small amount for the church in an account that has been dormant for about four years. She also noted that the church had taken approximately $135,000 from its Bonner Estate funds to pay off the loan for the purchase of church real estate. She suggested that the church transfer its capital campaign funds to this dormant account at Broadway Bank and use these funds to repay the amount taken from the Bonner Estate funds held by Texas Presbyterian Foundation. After discussion, upon motion made seconded, and adopted, the session voted to approve this plan.
Prayer: There being no further business to come before the session, Elder Lalich closed the meeting with prayer.
