My faith journey began as a child in Forest Hills Presbyterian Church in Helotes, Texas and the twists and turns of life have brought me to First Presbyterian Church of San Marcos. In between there, I earned my elementary education degree from Texas State University, married Spencer LeDoux, and moved with him to Japan and Wisconsin (and back to San Marcos more than once!). We have 4 wonderful children—Jasmine, Taliesin, Alistair, and Tessa. To combat the solitude and boredom of mothering a busy young family, I also serve as President of the Parent Teacher Council of The Master’s School. Plus, I love crafting and have some mad construction paper skills!
We have enjoyed sharing responsibilities as the Directors of Music at FPC San Marcos since 2008. Noel holds a degree in Music Education from Texas State University and is a Kodaly certified elementary music teacher and choir director at Kyle Elementary. Jack holds a degree in Music Education from The University of Texas, and is completing his Masters degree in Composition from Texas State University. He is also a published band composer with FJH Music and enjoys writing music for choir.
I was born and raised in northern Indiana, the third child of four. I moved to Texas to get out of the cold and snow (and it worked!). I’m the proud mother of 3 and 2 step kids, proud grandmother of several. I worked as a supervisor for 14 years in operator services at the San Marcos Phone Company before it was CenturyLink. I then worked different places doing a variety of things until July 2012 when I started here at First Presbyterian Church.
